Founder

Prof. Piero Bordin, founder of the World Theatre Festival Carnuntum, tried to build a bridge between the great  Theatre Festivals of ancient Greece and those of modern times. Thanks to his initiative a nexus between past and present was accomplished in a most professional way.

The almost 2000 year old amphitheatre in Petronell - Carnuntum was revived and  lends its unique ambience to the unforgettable theatrical performances which it now hosts.
